Pushing for results:
Swindon Wildcats v Bracknell
Ian Lewis |
After the exciting fixture of fighting last week against the Wightlink Raiders, Swindon fans turned-out in their many to cheer their home side on.
The first period started quite lively and after only the first few minutes the Wildcats had 4 players in the sin bin for roughing, after Swindon netminder Kudrna was knocked to the ice.
Rockman in the Bracknell goal denied Swindon taking the lead with some good saves but after 3 minutes Bracknell took the lead, Tom Duggen assisted by J.Hutchins and A. Hemmings put the visitors 1 up.
The second period saw Swindon apply more pressure to the visitors, but a combination of poor finishing and good goal-keeping again denied the home team.
Bracknell began to get the upper hand as the time passed and after 13 minutes in the 2nd period they again found the net with a goal scored by A.Bicknell assisted by P.Jasik and J.Greener.
With neither team able to produce a goal in this final period the match finished 0 - 2 to Bracknell.
